I'm in the UK, so buying anything from the USA is usually cost prohibitive due to the extortionate cost of shipping and the fact that every item gets stopped by the tax man, who demands 20% and then the lovely British Post Office charge 8 of our British Pounds to tell you the tax man bit you hard.
So when we were looking at these Tees, we ummed and ahhhed for some time. If we were gonna buy some, we needed to make it worth while, but why if the shirt quality is poor? What if the print quality is poor? Would we just loose $100 USD and chalk it up to experience?
We took the plunge and ordered 5 shirts.
Now, experience has taught us that post from the US can take any where between 10 and 15 weeks if USPS have anything to do with it. But, our order arrived within 4 weeks.
The quality of the shirts (as in the material) is very good. Every bit as good (if not better) than Fruit of the loom and several washes in, they still look excellent.
But, we are here for the artwork, and, it is simply stunning. The prints are crisp and clear and in real life the colour pops.
Somehow in real life your brain sees a heavy metal t-shirt even though you know it's a game t-shirt. Whereas on computer the colours appears more muted and it was clearly a clever game t-shirt.
Overall, happy happy joy joy.
